STANFORD, Calif. – Kelsey Bing has been named the America East Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference Tuesday.
The sophomore goalkeeper opened up the season last weekend with two career-best 10 save games against two top-14 opponents. Bing stopped 20 of the 23 shots she faced for a conference-best .870 save percentage and a 1.50 goals against average.
The honor is the second of Bing's career with her first coming Oct. 27, 2016.
