PROVIDENCE, R.I. – A day after totaling 45 goals in a pair of wins, the No. 3 Stanford men's water polo team produced 40 goals in two more victories on Sunday to punctuate its four-game weekend sweep at the Bruno Classic. The Cardinal posted a 21-5 victory over No. 19 St. Francis Brooklyn in the morning and closed the two-day event with a 19-0 win over No. 15 Brown Sunday at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center on the Brown campus.
 
Junior Blake Parrish led Stanford offensively with eight goals, including five in the win over St. Francis Brooklyn. Senior Jackson Kimbell and sophomore Bennett Williams posted six goals each over the two games. Williams netted four goals against St. Francis Brooklyn and two against Brown, while Kimbell posted three scores in each contest.
 
Senior Cody Smith also posted a hat trick in the win over the Bears, adding two goals in the triumph over the Terriers.
 
A day after registering seven goals in wins over Harvard and MIT, freshman Ben Hallock found the back of the cage four times in Sunday's wins.
 
In Sundays first game, Stanford scored six of the first seven goals against St. Francis Brooklyn and took an 11-4 lead into the halftime break. The Cardinal out-scored the Terriers, 10-1, in the second half to finish with at least 21 goals in each of its first three games.
 
Senior Drew Holland started and played the first three quarters, before handing it over to sophomore Andrew Chun in the fourth to seal the win over St. Francis Brooklyn.
 
In the final game of the weekend, Stanford scored three goals in the first two minutes and never looked back, en route to the 19-0 victory.
 
Chun started and played the entire match in goal for the Cardinal, posting Stanford's first shutout of the season.  
 
Stanford returns to the west coast, where it will prepare for a top-three showdown with No. 2 USC this coming Friday, Sept. 8, at 5 p.m. PT in Los Angeles. Pac-12 Networks will have live coverage of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation opener for both teams.
