STANFORD, Calif. - Eight Stanford softball players earned Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete honors, as announced this week by the organization.
Cardinal representatives include: Nikki Bauer, Lauren Bertoy, Kaitlyn Lagattuta, Carolyn Lee, Victoria Molina, Bessie Noll, Kylie Sorenson and Lauren Wegner.
Stanford's eight honors are the third-highest in program history with the 2015-16 team setting a program-best record with12 honors last year.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.5 GPA for the 2016-17 academic year.
