EDEN PRAIRIE, MN. – Four players broke par to spark the Stanford women's golf team Monday in the second round of the ANNIKA Intercollegiate at Olympic Hills Golf Club.
 
Sophomore Andrea Lee and senior Shannon Aubert posted 3-under 69s, while sophomore Albane Valenzuela and freshman Mika Liu shot 70s to lift the Cardinal into a tie for second heading into Tuesday's final round in the 12-team event.
 
Stanford improved 14 shots from Sunday's first round, combing for an 8-under score of 280. The Cardinal has a 36-hole total of 2-under 574 and is deadlocked with Texas, four strokes behind pacesetter Arkansas (570).
 
Aubert, Valenzuela and Liu each collected five birdies Monday on the 6,288-yard layout. Lee added four.
 
Liu, playing in her second collegiate tournament, shares a three-way tie for second in the individual competition at 4-under 140, two shots behind Natalie Srinivasan of Furman.
 
Lee is tied for 12th at 1-under 143, while Aubert is knotted for 16th at even par 144. Valenzuela is tied for 24th at 3-over 147, and senior Calli Ringsby is tied for 52nd at 13-over 157.   
 
Stanford will play with Arkansas and Texas on Tuesday. Tee times are from 7:50 to 8:30 a.m. PT.  Live scoring is available on GoStanford.com.
