STANFORD, Calif. – Corinne Zanolli has been named the America East Rookie of the Week for her standout play against a pair of conference opponents this past week, as announced by the conference.
The freshman attacker was integral to the Cardinal offense over the weekend, adding her 10th and 11th goals of the season as well as an assist in a split weekend against conference opponents Pacific and Cal.
On the week, Zanolli compiled five points off of two goals and an assist as No. 18 Stanford moved within one win of clinching the No. 1 seed in the America East West Division for next week's conference tournament.
The rookie leads the Cardinal in goals with 11 as Stanford collects its fifth weekly honor of the year and Zanolli collects her third career honor.
The Cardinal will close out regular-season play this week as it sets to host UC Davis Saturday at 6 p.m. PT on Varsity Turf.
