STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford announced Thursday that it will play a nonconference football game in 2020 against William & Mary. The Cardinal will square off against the Tribe at Stanford Stadium on Sept. 5.
Stanford will be William & Mary's first Pac-12 Conference opponent. The Cardinal has only played one other program from Virginia (Virginia Tech in the Orange Bowl following the 2010 season).
