STANFORD, Calif. – Catarina Macario earned her second consecutive Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honor and Kiki Pickett was named Defensive Player of the Week, as announced Tuesday by the conference.

Macario, who hails from San Diego, picks up her second straight Offensive Player of the Week honor after scoring Stanford's third goal and assisting another in a 3-1 win at No. 5 USC on Sunday. She assisted Michelle Xiao's goal, which proved to be the game winner, before planting a 25-yard free kick in the top corner, clinching three points and Stanford's third straight Pac-12 title.

Andi Sullivan made a driving run toward the Trojans penalty area, and was brought down 25 yards from goal near the center of the pitch. Macario stepped up and buried the free kick, her second such goal in four games after scoring a 35-yard free kick against Oregon (Oct. 19).

Entering Friday's regular-season finale, Macario leads the Pac-12 in points (36) and assists (10) and ties for the league lead in goals (13). Nationally, Macario ranks third in points per game (2.00), second in assists, fourth in points, fifth in shots per game (5.33) and fourth shots on goal per game (2.72).

Pickett, a Santa Barbara, California, native, earns her first career Pac-12 Player of the Week honor after scoring her first career goal and starting both games last week. She helped Stanford allow just one goal at No. 6 UCLA and No. 5 USC, netting her first collegiate goal in Sunday's 3-1 win at USC.

On the season, Pickett has registered four assists and one goal, starting 17 of 18 games at right back. She has helped contribute to Stanford's league-leading defense, which has allowed the fewest goals (6) with a Pac-12-leading 14 shutouts.

The honors are Stanford's fifth Pac-12 Player of the Week awards in the past three weeks – Macario claimed her first Offensive Player of the Week honor last week, and Lauren Rood and Tierna Davidson earned Goalkeeper of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week two weeks ago, respectively.

No. 1 Stanford wraps up the regular season on Friday when it hosts Cal at 7 p.m. PT. Senior Day ceremonies will take place before kickoff, and the game will broadcast live on Pac-12 Networks.
