A Stanford softball student-athlete has written a weekly blog in each of the past four seasons to provide fans a behind-the-scenes perspective of the team. This year, sophomore Lauren Frost is taking over the Softblog to chronicle the team's adventures throughout the season. Her eighth entry this year is below.
***Hello again Stanford softball fans!
Yet another weekend is in the books and the seemingly non-stop pace of the season still never ceases to amaze me.
We spent time in sunny Arizona this past weekend and had a full weekend of battling the Wildcats in front of their large and rowdy crowd.
We were ready to head home after the weekend but found ourselves temporarily disappointed when we found out both of our flights home would have significant delays.
After seeing nothing but this for hours and hours …

... we decided it was time to make things a little more exciting, and thus, the Airport Olympics was born.
