Murray Honored by MPSF

STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Kelsey Murray has been named the Mountain Sports Federation Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference.

Murray, a native of Wilmette, Ill. went on a tear last week, scoring a career-best seven goals against Fresno State before adding another five against Oregon as the Cardinal won twice to clinch a spot in the MPSF Tournament. Murray amassed 12 goals and three assists for 15 points as well as one ground ball and two caused turnovers.

Through April 18, she is second in Stanford history in assists (74) and points (204) and sixth in goals (130). This is Murray's fourth career MPSF weekly honor.

Stanford returns home this weekend to close out regular season play hosting USC and San Diego State on Friday and Sunday. Game time for Friday against USC is set for 5 p.m. and will be aired live on Pac-12 Networks at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.
