Softblog: Spring Break

A Stanford softball student-athlete has written a weekly blog in each of the past four seasons to provide fans a behind-the-scenes perspective of the team. This year, sophomore Lauren Frost is taking over the Softblog to chronicle the team's adventures throughout the season. Her seventh entry this year is below.

***We meet again Stanford softball fans!

The season is flying by as another weekend is already in the books.

It was a weekend of sunshine and good softball as we battled back and forth with the Utes over the three-game series.

Despite softball being in full swing, we were able to enjoy about a day-and-a-half off earlier in the week and soak up some sunshine over spring break!

Some left campus and drove back home to spend time with family while a few also packed up and journeyed down to the beach for a day or two and came back with some mighty good-looking tans (I must say, I'm quite jealous).

A few of us stayed much closer to campus and tried to do as much as we could in a day, hitting everything from an Escape Room, to sand volleyball, to a movie to top off our break!

 ***

Our break ended as quickly as it came, but with spring quarter now in motion there's always more fun on the horizon. In celebration we decided to kick off the quarter with some music, s'mores, and friends and had a perfect start to the last quarter of the school year!

It's been a fun week but it's time to get back to business. Catch us this weekend as we take on the Wildcats in a three-game series in Arizona!

Thank you all for everything you do!

Until next time,

Frosty
