STANFORD, Calif. – The Cardinal is set to stay at home as Stanford Golf Course will play host to the NCAA Stanford Men's Golf Regional Championships (May 15-17).
 
Stanford, the region's No. 1 seed, will welcome Baylor, Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Pepperdine, North Carolina, North Florida, BYU, Houston, Ohio State, UC Santa Barbara, Sacramento State and South Dakota State. Individuals include Collin Morikawa (Cal), Hayden Shieh (Santa Clara), David Kim (UC Irvine), Justin Doeden (Minnesota), Andres Gonzalez (Long Beach State), Felix Mory (Cal State Northridge), Fidel Concepcion (Southern Utah), Grant Booth (Nevada), Brian Humphreys (Boise State) and Mike Graboyes (Cornell).
 
Stanford enters the NCAA Regional Championships after finishing second in last week's Pac-12 Conference Championships. The Cardinal won its last outing on its home course -- The Goodwin -- contested this past April.
 
Stanford Golf Course also was the site for the NCAA Regional Championships in 2005 and 2012, and will serve as a host site in 2019.
 
In all, 81 teams and 45 individuals will compete in this season's six regional championships.
 
In addition to Stanford Golf Course, the regional sites include: Aldarra Golf Club in Sammamish, Washington; The Grove in Murfreesboro, Tennessee; the University of Texas Club in Austin, Texas; Kampen Course in West Lafayette, Indiana; and the University Club in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
 
The low five teams and low three individuals not on those teams will advance to the NCAA Championships at Rich Harvest Farms on May 26-31 in Sugar Grove, Illinois.
