BERKELEY, Calif. – No. 2 Stanford opened its 2018 campaign with an impressive showcase with a dominant 402.150 team score to sweep No. 10 Cal and SC United, including four team titles, while claiming four team event titles as well as the All-Around title and two additional titles for Robert Neff.
Neff dominated the meet, taking three event titles in the All-Around (82.850), pommel horse (13.900) and high bar (14.200).
Freshman Thomas Lee stepped up to take an event title in his collegiate debut with a (13.900) in rings.
The Cardinal (2-0) remained in control throughout the meet.
Stanford returns to action next weekend as it travels to face Illinois-Chicago and Iowa at UIC on Sunday, January 21 at noon PT.
