Q: What foreign country would you want to live in and why?
A: Italy, specifically Rome, the City of Love.
Q: What is your favorite thing about Stanford?
A: I would say the academics and the wide range of people you meet – I am planning on majoring in bioengineering, and all of the technological aspects of it fascinate me.
Q: Who has a funny superstition on the team?
A: Beau Branton. Every time he comes out of the locker room, he yells "baseball!" as he heads down to the field.
Q: Who has the best bat flip in the majors?
A: It's hard to go against Jose Bautista at the moment, his bat flips are about as epic as they get. However, I think a lot of it has to do with the situation and not so much about how far it goes.

Q: Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?
A: I would rather fight 100 duck-sized horses. A horse-sized duck would be pretty big, and ducks actually have teeth, so that would be pretty terrifying.
Q: What would the title of you autobiography be?
A: Maverick Handley: No, I Was Not Named After Top Gun.
