Team Scholar Honors

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford women's swimming and diving earned the highest Team GPA in the Pac-12, and was named a Scholar All-America team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

The top-ranked team in the nation, the Cardinal (7-0, 6-0 Pac-12) combined for a team grade point average of 3.59. The only other Pac-12 team to break 3.50 was Arizona (3.52).

For a team to be considered, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.

No. 1 Stanford wraps up the regular season against Cal (9-0, 6-0 Pac-12) at noon on Feb. 10. They are the only unbeaten teams remaining in the Pac-12. The two Pac-12 rivals will team up to take donations at the door for the Stanford's Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. Cash or checks (made out to LPCH) of any amount will be accepted. It also marks Senior Day at Avery Aquatic Center for the Cardinal, and admission is free.
