DAVIS, Calif. – Getting contributions from throughout the lineup, the No. 21 Stanford women's gymnastics team tallied a season-high 196.150 points Friday night to capture a quad meet against the host Aggies, San Jose State and Seattle Pacific.

The Cardinal (6-6, 0-2 Pac-12) started fast and finished strong, despite resting senior standout Elizabeth Price for two events.

Led by freshman Rachael Flam, Stanford won or shared first in all four rotations. Competing in all-around for the first time this season, she tied first with Price on vault (9.875), shared first with teammate Kaylee Cole on balance beam (9.825), and tied for first in the floor exercise (9.875) to win the all-around (39.375).

All were season-bests for Flam, a native of Houston, Texas.

"We took a big step tonight, and we are proud of the team effort across the board," said head coach Tabitha Yim. "Resting Elizabeth allowed other student-athletes to gain valuable experience. Kaylee led us off beautifully in three events, and Elizabeth closed out the vault and bar rotations beautifully."

The Cardinal had little margin for error on vault and bars, competing with only five athletes. In the final rotation – bars, Stanford produced a score of 49.125, led by the dynamic Price (9.925), freshmen Kyla Bryant (9.850, t-2), Taylor Lawson (9.800) and Flam (9.800), who tied for fourth.

Cole, a sophomore from Flower Mound, Texas, led off in three events and scored 9.725 or higher in each, recording a season-high 9.825 on balance beam.

Stanford returns to competition next Sunday at Arizona at 11 a.m. PT.

"We look forward to continuing to build and refine our routines," Yim said.
