STANFORD, Calif. – Freshmen Sarah Johnson and Corinne Zanolli will represent the Cardinal and Team USA this week as they set to compete in the Indoor Hockey World Cup. The honor is the first for the U.S. as it sets to begin pool play on Thursday, Wednesday 7 in Berlin, Germany.
"This is such an honor," commented Zanolli, "to be able to represent the U.S. against such incredibly talented teams is really exciting."
Johnson and Zanolli are coming off stellar rookie campaigns where they helped the Cardinal claim its second consecutive America East Conference title in only three years. Both were named to the America East All-Rookie Team with Zanolli being named America East Rookie of the Year.
