ANNAPOLIS, MD. - Stanford sailing finished eighth among the 20 teams at the Navy Women's regatta over the weekend.
The Cardinal finished with 289 points and the College of Charleston won with 156 points. In the A Division, skipper Mimi El-Khazindar and crew Meg Gerli finished fifth and totaled 134 points. In the B Division, skipper Stephanie Houck and crew Sophia Sole totaled 155 points to finish 11th.
Next weekend, the Cardinal are set to visit Long Beach, California, for the South Designate, as well as Bristol, Rhode Island, for the Friis Team Race, and Norfolk, Virginia, for the Szambecki Team Race.
