Make It Two

STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Elizabeth Price has been selected Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

It marks the second consecutive week she has received the award, the third time this season, and the seventh in her career.

A native of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, Price turned in a sensational performance for No. 27 Stanford on Sunday in her final home meet against No. 3 UCLA. She scored a career-high 39.825 in all-around, highlighted by a perfect 10 on floor exercise in the last routine of the meet. Price also tallied a season-high 9.975 to capture vault.

She has now earned three 10's this season and four at Stanford, believed the most in program history. She is the first Cardinal to achieve two 10's on floor and record perfect scores in three events (floor, vault and uneven bars).

Nationally, Price now ranks second in all-around, tied for third on bars and floor, and fourth on vault. She has collected 28 firsts and 25 scores of 9.900 or higher.

Stanford resumes competition March 24 at the Pac-12 Championships in Tucson, Arizona.
