SALT LAKE CITY - Game three of the Pac-12 series between Stanford and Utah has been postponed until Monday at 11 a.m. PT due to inclement weather in the Salt Lake City area.

For the first time since 2014 the Cardinal (20-9, 1-1 Pac-12) won its opening Pac-12 Conference game, defeating Utah (16-12, 1-4 Pac-12), 5-4, in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday. Sophomore Teaghan Cowles went 3-for-3 with two triples and a run scored. Junior Carolyn Lee picked up her first win of the season in the circle.

Utah answered in the second game of the twin bill, topping the Cardinal 9-6. Stanford finished with six runs on seven hits, but gave up 13 hits to the Utes.
