Additionally, Bing was named a NFHCA Division I Scholar of Distinction recipient, presented to student-athletes who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year. A two-time NFHCA Division I National Academic squad honoree, Bing was tabbed a Longstreth/NFHCA West Region Second Team selection in 2017. Named the America East Goalkeeper of the Year this season, Bing made 112 saves and led Stanford to its fourth straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
