DURHAM, N.C. – Senior Kelsey Murray became Stanford's all-time career assists leader, freshman Ali Baiocco tallied a career-high five goals and senior goalkeeper Allie DaCar made 12 saves to lead No. 25 Stanford to a convincing 15-5 road win over No. 16 Duke on Friday.
"This felt really good because it was a complete team effort," said head coach Amy Bokker. "It is tough to win on the road, and I was really proud of the way we played. Kelsey (Murray) did a great job of choosing her moments and elevating our attack, the scoring generated from our freshmen was so exciting, and the group effort from Ali and our defense was fun to watch."
Stanford (2-2) never trailed and led by double digits for the majority of the second half en route to its first road win over a Top 25 opponent since March 23, 2016.
Murray, who finished with a game-high three assists, surpassed Claire Hubbard (2007-10) with her first helper of the game, and the 89th of her career.

Baiocco got the scoring started in the first two minutes, but Duke responded 15 seconds later with the tying score.
That was the last goal Stanford allowed over the next 22 minutes. DaCar made nine first-half saves, and allowed just two goals in the first 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, five different Cardinal scored the game's next seven goals. Murray assisted freshman Taylor Scornavacco for the record-breaker with 20:56 left in the opening half.
Baiocco recorded her hat trick with 7:38 left in the first half to put Stanford up 8-1.
Duke (3-2) got one back, but the Areta Buness and Galen Lew each scored before the half to give Stanford a 10-2 edge at intermission.
Buness and sophomore Daniella McMahon scored back-to-back goals to start the second half. From then on, it was a running clock for the last 27:00 as Stanford never relinquished its double-digit lead.
The lead grew to as many as 12 when Lew and Baiocco scored to put Stanford up 14-2 with 13:27 to go.
Stanford won 14 of 22 draw controls, led by six from Genesis Lucero and five from Julia Massaro. DaCar and Massaro also led the team with four ground balls apiece as the Cardinal held a 18-16 advantage in that category.
Notables: Stanford's last road victory over Top 25 competition was also on the East Coast – a 10-9 double overtime thriller at No. 19 Johns Hopkins … Baiocco's previous career high of four goals was set against then-No. 2 Stony Brook on Feb. 19 ... DaCar was two saves short of her career-high of 14, which she has hit four times.
Up Next: One more East Coast contest remains as the Cardinal takes on Elon at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
