STANFORD, Calif. – The 14th-ranked Stanford beach volleyball team continues its home slate in a busy week on campus, facing San Jose State Wednesday and hosting Arizona State, Boise State, California, San Jose State, and Tulane this weekend at Stanford Beach Volleyball Stadium.
Dual with the Spartans
The Cardinal faces San Jose State on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. PT at Stanford Beach Volleyball Stadium. The Spartans are 3-2 on the season, with wins against Abilene Christian and Benedictine Mesa, and losses to Arizona and California.

The Cardinal hosted the Stanford Bay Area Kickoff (March 2-3), winning each of their matches against Saint Mary's, San Francisco, Sacramento State and Pacific. Stanford only dropped one match across the four duals. The No. 2 pairing of Morgan Hentz and Amelia Smith put together four wins, winning each match in straight sets.
Cardinal on Pac-12 Networks
Saturday's matches against Boise State and Arizona State will be broadcast live on Pac-12 Networks. The broadcast will begin at 2:30 p.m. with JB Long (play-by-play) and Nicole Branagh (analyst) on the call.
Pac-12 Pairing of the Week
Stanford's No. 2 pairing of sophomore Morgan Hentz and freshman Amelia Smith were named the Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week Tuesday morning. The duo did not drop a set during the Stanford Bay Area Kickoff, winning all four of its matches that weekend.
Pac-12 South Tournament
After this weekend's series of duals at home, Stanford heads to Southern California for the Pac-12 South Tournament. The Cardinal will face Washington, Arizona, Arizona State and USC in dual action March 24-25.
