LAS VEGAS – No. 5 seed Stanford, winners of five of its last six, meets No. 4 seed UCLA Thursday at 2:30 p.m. PT in the quarterfinal round of the Pac-12 Tournament at T-Mobile Arena. The Cardinal split the regular-season series with the Bruins.
 
STANFORD IN THE PAC-12 TOURNAMENT
• 17-19 all-time record in the conference tournament
• Defeated Washington (77-66) March 13, 2004 to capture its conference tournament title
• 1-2 all-time against UCLA in the conference tournament
• No. 2 seed Stanford defeated No. 3 seed UCLA (95-86) March 11, 1989 in the semifinals
• No. 1 seed UCLA defeated No. 2 seed Stanford (67-64) March 15, 2008 in the championship
• No. 2 seed UCLA defeated No. 6 seed Stanford (84-59) March 14, 2014 in the semifinals

CARDINAL OPENS TOURNAMENT WITH 18-POINT WIN OVER CALIFORNIA
No. 5 seed Stanford scored 13 of the game's first 17 points, and the Cardinal never looked back, en route to a 76-58 victory over No. 12 seed California Wednesday at T-Mobile Arena. Reid Travis led the Cardinal with 19 points and 13 rebounds and Dorian Pickens added 16 points, connecting on four three-pointers.
 
REID TRAVIS AMONG NATION'S BEST POST PLAYERS
Fresh off his second consecutive First Team All-Pac-12 selection, All-America candidate Reid Travis has established himself as one of the top players at his position in the nation. He ranks in the top-four of the Pac-12 in 10 categories. The forward has six double-doubles in his last eight games, coming off 19-point, 13-rebound game in the win over California on Wednesday. In Travis' last six games, the forward is averaging 22.0 points and 11.2 rebounds in leading Stanford to 5-1 record during that span. He enters Thursday's game eighth on Stanford's single-season scoring list with 626 points.   
 
AGAINST UCLA
UCLA leads the all-time series, 144-94. Stanford and UCLA split the regular-season series, with each team winning at home. The Cardinal earned a double overtime win on The Farm on Jan. 4.
 
CARDINAL PLAYERS AGAINST UCLA
Eleven active Stanford players have faced UCLA previously. Seniors Michael Humphrey (13.1 ppg) and Dorian Pickens (12.0 ppg) have each faced the Bruins six times. Freshman Daejon Davis is averaging 22.5 points and 8.5 assists in two games against UCLA.
