Sophomore Hannah Howell registered Stanford's first hit of the game, a double off the wall in right centerfield. Freshman Maya Jackson, who earned her second straight start in right field, recorded her first collegiate hit with a double in the bottom of the fifth.
Fitting that on #JackieRobinsonDay, our No. 42 gets her first collegiate hit.
