STANFORD, Calif. – The 85th annual Big Row will be a battle of top-five teams, with No. 5 Stanford hosting No. 1 California Saturday at Redwood Shores.
The Cardinal is coming off a strong showing at the Lake Natoma Invitational, in which Stanford won six of eight races. Stanford and Cal competed in the regatta, with the Golden Bears defeating the Cardinal in the varsity eight, second varsity eight, and varsity four boats.
The Big Row marks the Cardinal's final regular-season racing, as Stanford will head to Sacramento for the Pac-12 Championships on Sunday, May 13.
