STANFORD, Calif. – Three-time defending Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) champion Stanford will compete in the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Championships this weekend in Lake Natoma in Gold River, California.
Last year, The Cardinal's lightweight varsity eight and lightweight double each won their respective boat's Grand Final.
Preliminary racing will begin for Stanford at 8:30 a.m. PT on Saturday and continue throughout the day. Finals for all participating boats are slated for Sunday.
