STANFORD, Calif. – No. 5 Stanford women's rowing travels to Gold River, California for the second time this season to compete in the Pac-12 Championships, which will be held at Lake Natoma on Sunday.

The Cardinal captured the bronze in last year's championships with 39 total points. Stanford took home the bronze in the varsity eight, beating Washington State by five seats. The second and third varsity eight boats also earned third-place finishes in the regatta.

Four boats will be in action for the Cardinal: the varsity eight, second varsity eight, third varsity eight and the varsity four.

Stanford last won the Pac-12 title as a team in 2014. The varsity eight also took the top spot that year.

The Pac-12 Championships are the last regatta before the NCAA Championships for Stanford. The NCAA Rowing Selection Show will be broadcast on NCAA.com at 2 p.m. PT on Tuesday, May 15.
