Pac-12 Slate Takes Shape

SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 Conference announced the date windows and home/away designations for the 2018-19 men's basketball season.

While the home/away designations are set for each week, exact dates and order of opponents within each five-day window will be announced once television selections are complete. Selections are expected to be finalized in early September by the conference's television partners.

For the first time in six years, Stanford will open the Pac-12 slate on the road, facing UCLA and USC in Los Angeles during the first week in January. The conference home opener will be against either Arizona or Arizona State. The Cardinal will host the Arizona schools during the week of Jan. 9-13 at Maples Pavilion.

The 2018-19 season will be the third time since the 2011-12 campaign, Stanford will close the season against California. The Cardinal won both of those previous regular-season ending meetings, defeating the Golden Bears in Berkeley (83-70) on March 6, 2013, and at Maples Pavilion (75-70) on March 4, 2012.

As part of the conference's 18-game schedule, each school will face seven league opponents twice and four opponents once throughout the regular season. Stanford will not host Oregon and Oregon State and will not travel to Colorado and Utah during the 2018-19 conference slate.
