December 3, 2017 • Women's Soccer Claims the Cup
Dominant all season long, Stanford Women's Soccer capped off their season with the perfect ending, a 3-2 thrilling victory over UCLA in Orlando, Florida. The championship was the second for the program, having won the 2011 national title.
December 9, 2017 • The Return to the Final Four
Stanford Women's Volleyball followed their 2016 National Championship season with another trip to the Final Four after sweeping Texas in Maples Pavilion in the NCAA Regional final. Stanford has appeared in three of the last four Final Fours (2014, 2016, 2017).December 10 • The Tree-peat
In a finish for the ages, Sam Werner's goal in the second overtime of sudden victory sealed the third consecutive national title for Stanford Men's Soccer.
December 19, 2017 • #HeismanLove
Stanford Football's Bryce Love put together a stellar season in 2017, rewriting the national and Stanford record books in the process. Love helped the team capture another Pac-12 North title, won the Doak Walker Award, was a unanimous All-American, and was named a Heisman Trophy finalist.
January 5, 2018 • Sullivan Captures the MAC Hermann Trophy
Concluding a championship season and impressive Stanford career, Stanford Women's Soccer's Andi Sullivan was awarded the Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy, the highest award in college soccer. She joined Kelley O'Hara (2009), Christen Press (2010) and Teresa Noyola (2011) as the only Stanford women to win the award.

In an early Pac-12 contest, Stanford Men's Basketball used a three-quarter-court heave from freshman Daejon Davis to take down USC at the buzzer in Maples Pavilion.
March 17, 2018 • Back-to-back Championships
In a dominant display, Stanford Women's Swimming & Diving took home its second NCAA Championship in as many years this March. Stanford's 13 event victories tied the all-time record set several times, last by Stanford in 1993. Stanford's 593 points were the most since Georgia had 609.5 in 2005 and the most for the program since the Cardinal totaled 649.5 in 1993.
April 19, 2018 • Elizabeth Price Makes History
A 10-time All-American and two-time Pac-12 Conference Gymnast of the Year, Stanford Women's Gymnastics' Elizabeth Price became the first Stanford student-athlete to capture the coveted AAI Award, which is presented to the most outstanding senior female gymnast in the country.

No. 2 seed Stanford Women's Lacrosse rolled over top-seeded Colorado, 15-6, to win the first Pac-12 Women's Lacrosse Tournament, securing the program's eighth NCAA appearance, and seventh in 10 seasons under head coach Amy Bokker.
May 22, 2018 • Women's Tennis Wins No. 117 for Stanford
Tearing through a gauntlet of higher seeds in No. 2 North Carolina, No. 7 Georgia, No. 3 Duke and No. 1 Vanderbilt, 15-seeded Stanford Women's Tennis claimed yet another NCAA title, giving Stanford its record 117th NCAA team championship in total.

It came down to the final game of the regular season, but Stanford Baseball, in the first season under Clarke and Elizabeth Nelson Director of Baseball David Esquer, won its first Pac-12 Championship since 2004 in comeback fashion over Washington.
June 9, 2018 • Women's Track & Field Matches Best-ever NCAA Finish
Led by five top-five finishes on the meet's final day, Stanford Women's Track & Field took a close third at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon, matching the program's best-ever finish at the event.
June 19, 2018 • Four-peat Complete
With individual titles in the varsity eight and varsity four boats, Stanford Lightweight Rowing was awarded its fourth consecutive Intercollegiate Rowing Association team national title in June. The program has more IRA titles than any other team in the sport.
June 25, 2018 • Simone Manuel Secures Honda Cup
Stanford swimming standout Simone Manuel won the Honda Cup as the nation's top collegiate women's athlete. Manuel is the fourth Cardinal to win the honor, joining teammate Katie Ledecky last year, women's volleyball's Ogonna Nnamani in 2005, women's swimmer Tara Kirk in 2004. Stanford is the first school to have back-to-back Honda Cup award winners since Maya Moore won twice in a row for the University of Connecticut in 2009-10 and 2010-11.

Highlighted by four NCAA championships and 17 top-10 sport finishes overall, Stanford became the first school to capture both the men's and women's Capital One Cup titles and the Directors' Cup in the same season. Not only has no school ever won both Capital One Cup trophies in the same year, but the addition of Stanford's 24th consecutive Director's Cup is an unprecedented achievement that punctuated a stellar year in Stanford Athletics.
