STANFORD, Calif. – No. 1 Stanford, the three-time defending NCAA champions, will host a free youth clinic before its exhibition against CSUN on Saturday afternoon.
The free clinic will be run by Cardinal coaches and players beginning at 2 p.m. on Ueland Field, directly behind the east side of Cagan Stadium adjacent to El Camino Real and is for youth ages 5-12.
In order to participate, a parent or legal guardian must complete a waiver prior to the clinic, which can be downloaded and completed at this link. Copies of the waiver will also be printed and available to fill out on site.
The clinic precedes Stanford's exhibition against CSUN which begins at 4 p.m. Admission to the match is free. The Cardinal beat Saint Mary's 2-1 on Tuesday in its first tune-up of 2018.
Stanford's regular-season home opener is on Friday, August 24 against San Jose State at 5 p.m. The match against the Spartans is Cardinal Kids Day and fans can receive up to two free youth tickets with the purchase of a paid adult ticket. The first 1,500 fans in attendance that evening will also receive a t-shirt celebrating the program's back-to-back-to-back national championships.
