Schedule Unveiled

STANFORD, Calif. – The Stanford wrestling program and 11th-year head coach Jason Borrelli have announced its schedule for the upcoming 2018-19 season. The Pac-12 Network will announce its broadcast selections at a later date and the wrestling schedule will be finalized at that time.

Stanford will wrestle in 13 duals and compete in some of the nation's most competitive collegiate tournaments this year.

The Cardinal will have six home duals, highlighted by an outdoor clash with San Francisco State on Nov. 10 during Fan Fest of the Stanford vs. Oregon State football game, a February 2 matchup against reigning Pac-12 champion Arizona State and a date with Cal Poly for Senior Day on Feb. 17.

Stanford will also wrestle in the second annual "Battle on the Midway" on Nov. 20 in San Diego, California. Featuring the Cardinal and Fresno State, the Battle on the Midway is the only wrestling event that has been staged aboard the famed aircraft-carrier that was used by U.S. Troops during the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm.

Stanford will appear in the Princeton Open (Nov. 4), the Roadrunner Open (Nov. 18), the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite (Nov. 30-Dec. 1) and the Southern Scuffle (Jan. 1-2).

After hosting Utah Valley and Harvard on Jan. 12 and Cal Baptist on Jan. 25, the Cardinal will open Pac-12 competition on Jan. 27 at CSU Bakersfield. Stanford will also wrestle a pair of Big Ten squads on the road at Purdue (Feb. 8) and Indiana (Feb. 9). The Cardinal closes out the regular season at Nebraska on Feb. 23.

Arizona State will host the Pac-12 Championships on March 9. The NCAA Championships will be held March 21-23 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Stanford returns All-American Paul Fox (7th, 2017) and four NCAA qualifiers overall. Last season, the Cardinal sent six wrestlers to the NCAA Championships in Cleveland, Ohio.

All dates and times are still subject to change. All times listed are Pacific Time.
