Wild Card Weekend

Falcons at Rams
Tight ends Austin Hooper and Levine Toilolo made the playoffs with Atlanta for the second consecutive season, travelling to face the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday. While both players are heavily involved in Atlanta's run game, Hooper ranks third on the team with 49 receptions, more than double his total in 2016.

The Falcons' path to the divisional round goes through Los Angeles, with first-year head coach Sean McVay leading a remarkable turnaround after a 4-12 season. Hooper, Toilolo and the rest of Atlanta's offense will have its hands full with likely defensive MVP Aaron Donald on the other side of the ball.

  • Toilolo (knee) has been a limited participant in practice this week.

Panthers at Saints
Christian McCaffrey has enjoyed a breakout season with Carolina, helping the Panthers reach the playoffs after missing out in 2016. McCaffrey set a rookie record for running backs with 80 catches, compiling 651 receiving yards and seven total touchdowns. With Cam Newton, McCaffrey has formed one of the most dynamic backfields in football.

An important piece of a long-term revamping of New Orleans' offensive line, Andrus Peat continues to improve in his third season. At left guard, Peat has helped the Saints lead the league with 4.7 yards per carry while also deputizing at left tackle when needed.
