SEATTLE – Stanford is well-represented at the ITA Northwest Regionals in Seattle this week, as six members of the Cardinal are competing in singles and doubles in the five-day tournament held at Washington's Nordstrom Tennis Center as well as the Seattle Tennis Club.
Sameer Kumar, William Genesen and Timothy Sah reached Sunday's quarterfinals in the singles draw, with matches slated for the late afternoon and early evening.
Genesen and Kumar advanced to the doubles quarterfinals, where the Cardinal duo fell to Oregon's Joshua Charlton and Thomas Laurent, 8-6, Saturday morning.

There is a total of 121 singles players and 58 doubles teams in the ITA Northwest Regionals, including players from California, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Oregon, Pepperdine, Portland, Portland State, Sacramento State, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Seattle U, St. Mary's, Stanford, UC Davis and Washington.
