STANFORD, Calif. – Sophomores Daejon Davis and KZ Okpala led Stanford to a 75-59 exhibition victory over Sonoma State, Tuesday, at Maples Pavilion.
Okpala led all players with 20 points and had four rebounds and two steals, while Davis added 16 points on 6-for-10 shooting.
Sophomore Oscar da Silva finished one rebound shy of a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. Freshman Cormac Ryan started the game and dished out a team-high four assists to go with nine points and six rebounds.
Stanford led Sonoma State 36-32 at halftime as Okpala and da Silva combined for 18 points in the opening frame.

Senior center Josh Sharma went 3-for-3 from the field and finished with seven points and grabbed five rebounds.

Freshman Aaron Porcil led Sonoma State with 11 points, while sophomore Wesley Gilbert had 10.
In total, 11 players took the court for the Cardinal Tuesday night.
Stanford officially opens the 2018-19 campaign on Tuesday against Seattle University. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks.
