Coaches Put Card at No. 7

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford is ranked in the USA TODAY Preseason Top 25 Coaches' Poll for the 19th consecutive season, checking in at No. 7 in results released Thursday.
 
Stanford, which closed out 2017-18 ranked 13th in the same poll, made its 11th consecutive trip to the Sweet 16 last season, posting a 24-11 overall record and a 14-3 mark in Pac-12 play. The Cardinal is also seventh in the Associated Press' preseason poll announced yesterday.
 
Stanford begins its 2018-19 season when it hosts Vanguard in an exhibition on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. Fans can receive up to four free youth tickets (8th grade and under) with the purchase of a paid adult ticket by visiting this link.
