KAILUA, Hawaii – The Stanford women's golf team improved three spots Tuesday in the second round of the Nanea Pac-12 Preview at Nanea Golf Club.
The second-ranked Cardinal combined for an even-par score of 292 and has a 36-hole total of 1-under 583. Stanford is tied with Colorado, two strokes behind pacesetter Cal at 3-under 581.
Three Stanford players reside in the top-10 in the individual competition. Junior Albane Valenzuela (71-73) is tied for fifth at 2-under 144, while junior Andrea Lee (73-72) and freshman Aline Krauter (72-73) share eighth at 145.
Lee, the defending champion, fashioned five birdies on Tuesday.
Junior Ziyi Wang (75-74) is tied for 27th at 3-over 149, followed by sophomore Kelsey Zeng (77-75) at 6-over 152.
Yu-Sang Hou of Arizona leads at 6-under 140.
Eleven Pac-12 teams and Hawaii are competing.
The final round will be played Wednesday, beginning with a 9:30 a.m. PT shotgun start. Live scoring can be found at GoStanford.com.
