STANFORD, Calif. – Ethan Foster has signed a National Letter of Intent to join Stanford's men's swimming and diving program for the 2019-20 season.
Foster, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, joins the Cardinal from South Mecklenburg High School and the Carolina Diving Academy (2016-19). A two-time NCHSAA men's swimming and diving champion with South Mecklenburg, Foster was crowned 2018 regional champion and 2017 conference champion.
With Carolina Diving Academy, Foster was the 2018 16-18 Boys Platform Junior Olympic Champion at the USA Diving Zone D Championships, finishing 16th at the United States Junior Olympic National Championships on platform.
The son of Laurie and Robert Foster, he anticipates majoring in chemistry with a contemplated profession as an orthopedic surgeon.
