BOSTON - No. 4 Stanford breezed past No. 8 Cornell on Saturday afternoon in the consolation round of the CSA National Championships.
Stanford (15-4) picked up its second win of the season over Cornell after also prevailing 7-2 last month.
The Cardinal was dropped to the consolation bracket following a 5-4 loss to No. 5 Yale on Friday.
Five of Stanford's eight victories came in straight sets.
The Cardinal concludes competition on Sunday, Feb. 18, against No. 7 Penn at 8:30 a.m. PT.
