STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford has been named the No. 4 seed for the Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Championship, which will be hosted at Stanford Beach Volleyball Stadium this Thursday through Saturday.
 
The Cardinal improved its position from a season ago, as the team earned the fifth seed in last year's tournament, which was hosted by Arizona in Tucson.
 
Stanford (16-11, 7-5 Pac-12) will play No. 5 seed Arizona at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinal won its only meeting with the Wildcats this season in a 3-2 decision on March 24 at the Pac-12 South Invitational in Santa Monica, California.
 
Tournament play begins on Thursday and Friday at 8 a.m. PT with the last dual of the day slated for 4:45 p.m. PT on both days. Saturday action begins at 9 a.m. PT with the champion being determined at 3 p.m. PT.
 
All three days of the championship will be televised on Pac-12 Network and Pac-12 Bay Area with Anne Marie Anderson and Holly McPeak calling the morning action, and Kevin Barnett and Mike Dodd in the afternoon.
 
Admission is free for all fans for the entirety of the Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Championship at Stanford Beach Volleyball Stadium.
