Alumni Meet Announced

STANFORD, Calif. – The Stanford men's and women's swimming and diving teams will host the programs' annual alumni meet at 5:30 p.m. PT on Oct. 26 in conjunction with the University's annual homecoming weekend.

The alumni meet will pit the "old-timers" against the current teams. A post-meet tailgate will immediately follow the friendly competition on Friday evening. Throughout the weekend, Stanford will host several other events as part of reunion homecoming.

Stanford's field hockey team hosts Pacific on Friday at 7 p.m. while the Cardinal's three-time defending national champion men's soccer team hosts Denver at the same time. On Saturday, men's water polo plays host to UC Davis at 1 p.m. with the football team taking on Washington State – kickoff time is yet to be determined.

The Stanford men's and women's swimming and diving programs have combined to win 85 conference championships and 19 national championships. Last season, the women's program captured its 11th national championship while the Cardinal men finished seventh at the NCAA Championships.
