STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford beach volleyball announced its schedule today, which features 10 home matches and five matches to be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.
"The players and coaching staff are equally excited for a challenging and diverse schedule in the 2019 season," said head coach Andrew Fuller.
The Cardinal's season will begin in Hawai'i at the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Beach Classic, where the team will face challenging opponents such as UCLA, Pepperdine, Saint Mary's and Hawai'i.
"We get to kick it off in Hawaii in the deep sand at Queen's Beach in Waikiki, steps away from where our sport began, which will be a tremendous show for fans on the island as five of the top programs in the country square off," said Fuller of the season-opening weekend.
Stanford's 2019 spring schedule features 10 home events at Stanford Beach Volleyball Stadium, known one of the sport's elite collegiate venues.
All three of the team's matches in the Pac-12 South Beach Invitational will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks, as well as the dual matches against Saint Mary's and San Jose State on The Farm on March 10.
The regular season culminates in Los Angeles, as USC plays host to the annual Pac-12 Championship.
