WILDCATS VISIT MAPLES
Stanford hosts its first Pac-12 opponent of the season, as Arizona comes to Maples Pavilion Wednesday at 8 p.m. Ted Robinson, Don MacLean and Jill Savage have the coverage on Pac-12 Networks. Wednesday's contest is also available on the Stanford Cardinal Sports Network.

YOUNG SQUAD
Eleven of Stanford's 15 players are in their first or second year playing. Only senior Josh Sharma and juniors Marcus Sheffield, Trevor Stanback and Rodney Herenton entered the year with at least two seasons played. Through 14 games, first and second-year players have accounted for 82% of Stanford's scoring (835 of 1,015) and 80% of Stanford's rebounding (399 of 499).

Stanford's starting lineup in seven games has been made up of three sophomores and two freshmen. In five games, sophomores Daejon Davis, KZ Okpala and Oscar da Silva have started alongside freshmen Cormac Ryan and Bryce Wills. Against Long Beach State, the sophomore trio of Davis, Okpala and da Silva started alongside Wills and fellow freshman Jaiden Delaire. Stanford started three freshmen - Wills, Ryan, Delaire - and two sophomores - Okpala and da Silva - at UCLA. The Cardinal is one of only four teams in Division I that have started all freshmen and sophomores this season, joining East Carolina, Incarnate Word and Mount St. Mary's.

OKPALA AMONG PAC-12's BEST
Sophomore forward KZ Okpala ranks sixth in the Pac-12 in scoring (16.6 ppg), third in three-point field goal percentage (.463) and 11th in rebounding (6.5 rpg). He posted his second double-double of the season with 22 points and a career-high-tying 10 rebounds at UCLA last week. The sophomore's seven 20-point games this season is the second-most in the Pac-12 this season and three more than he had all of last year. He averaged 9.0 ppg in two games vs. Arizona last season.

RYAN AMONG PAC-12'S BEST 3-POINT THREATS
Freshman Cormac Ryan is second in the Pac-12, averaging 2.6 three-point field goals per game. The freshman has recorded at least four three-point field goals in a game in five contests (6 vs. USC, 5 vs. Seattle, 4 vs. North Carolina, 4 vs. Florida, 4 vs. Eastern Washington). He has multiple three-point field goals in seven games and is shooting 35.8 percent from three-point range (29-of-81). Ryan's career-best six threes at USC (all in the second half) were the most threes in a game by a Stanford freshman since Chasson Randle (6) vs. Arizona State on March 7, 2012.

AGAINST ARIZONA
Arizona leads the all-time series, 65-29. The Wildcats have won the last 17 games. Stanford's last win in the series was Jan. 4, 2009, when the Cardinal, led by a game-high 19 points from Landry Fields, defeated the Wildcats, 76-60, at home.

CARDINAL PLAYERS AGAINST ARIZONA
Seven active Stanford players have faced Arizona previously. Sophomore Daejon Davis is averaging 9.0 points in two contests against the Wildcats. Junior Marcus Sheffield is averaging 8.0 points three games against Arizona.

LAST GAME AGAINST THE WILDCATS
Reid Travis had a game-high 23 points and collected his 11th double-double of the year with 10 boards, but Stanford came up short in a 75-67 defeat to No. 19 Arizona March 1 at McKale center.
