Synchro on Tap

STANFORD, Calif. – The synchronized swimming team makes its only home appearance of the season on Saturday when it hosts Lindenwood at the Avery Aquatic Center.

The meet begins at 11 a.m. with the trio and duet competition. At 12:45, seniors Joanna Langner and Amanda Urke will be recognized, followed by solo and team competition.

Last weekend, the Cardinal traveled to San Antonio to compete in the University of Incarnate Word Invitational against Incarnate Word and Lindenwood. Lindenwood won with a score of 92, while Stanford and Incarnate Word shared second with 84.

Junior Natalie Fletcher, sophomore Caitlin Klauer and freshman Grace Alwan combined to win trio.

"This meet helped our team gain valuable learning experience with our new routine pairings, especially in the duet and trio events," said head coach Megan Azebu. "Our freshmen and sophomores will play big roles in our overall success."

Stanford will return to San Antonio on March 27-30 for the Collegiate National Championships at Incarnate Word.

"We will continue to refine our choreography and train our programs in preparation for the National Championships," Azebu said. "We can't wait to show off our routines on Saturday."

Admission is free.
