STANFORD, Calif. – On Senior Day, it was fitting Hailee Hoffman, Nicole Hoffman and Taryn Fitzgerald turned in memorable performances in their final home meet at Maples Pavilion.
Hailee earned a career high on floor (9.875), Nicole did the same on beam (9.825) and Fitzgerald added a season best on vault (9.800).

It wasn't enough Monday to scare No. 4 Utah, who claimed the dual meet against the No. 23 Cardinal, 197.125-195.800. But Stanford saved its best for last, besting the Red Rocks in floor exercise with a season high 49.325 in a feel-good meet attended by Cardinal program legends Elizabeth Price and Carly Janiga.

Competing for the third time in nine days, Stanford (5-9, 0-5 Pac-12) started slowly after returning Saturday from Friday night's quad meet in St. Charles, Mo. The Cardinal picked it up after the first event on vault and tallied 48.875 on bars and beam before crushing floor exercise.
"We knew this was going to be our biggest test, mentally," said head coach Tabitha Yim. "What I was pleased about was they never gave up. There were so many times we could have just let it go and it wasn't perfect. But they grinded through it and got better on each event."
Participating in her only routine, Hailee Hoffman shared second on floor with teammates Kyla Bryant and Taylor Lawson, while Rachael Flam, Kaylee Cole and Morgan Hoang tied for sixth with 9.850.
Also competing in one event, Nicole Hoffman earned a share of third place to pace Stanford, while Bryant, Fitzgerald and Wesley Stephenson tied for sixth.

Bryant added a tie for fourth on bars with 9.850 and finished third in all-around with 39.175.
"We showed character and strength," Yim said. "These last two meets have given us confidence. Now we have a few days to work on the details."
Stanford concludes it home season against Arizona on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Burnham Pavilion.
