STANFORD, Calif. - No. 1 Stanford women's swimming and diving strives to be the first school in more than a decade to three-peat at the Pac-12 Championships. The conference meet begins Wednesday night and continues through Saturday at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington.

» Tickets are available online and will also be available for purchase at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center on the day of the event. Gates open at 9:30 a.m. for the morning session and 5 p.m. for the evening session. Tickets are general admission and seating is first come, first served.
» Coverage of the prelims and earlier finals will be streamed live on Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app, Wednesday through Saturday.
» Friday and Saturday's finals will be broadcast live on select Pac-12 Networks, starting at 6:30 p.m. PT.

 Conference History» Stanford has won a record 21 Pac-12 Conference championships, which included the first 13 conference titles from 1987-99.
» The last school to win three consecutive Pac-12 Conference titles was Arizona from 2006-08. The Wildcats and Cardinal are the only programs to three-peat as Stanford won those first 13 meets.
» Stanford has never finished lower than second under Paul A. Violich Director of Women's Swimming Greg Meehan. In his six seasons, Stanford has won three conference titles. 
» Stanford has finished first or second each of the last nine seasons (five titles, four runner-up finishes).

» In 2017, Stanford garnered 1,587 points to top runner-up Cal's 1,392 points and USC, which finished third with 1,250 points. The Cardinal set five American records and won 15 of the 21 events. » In 2018, the top-ranked Cardinal's 1,776.5 points were the second-most ever scored at the Pac-12 Championships – only eclipsed by the 1,804 points scored by Stanford's 1992 national championship team that famously featured several Olympians, including Summer Sanders and Jenny Thompson. Sophomore Katie Ledecky, who won three individual Pac-12 titles and set the NCAA and American records in the 400-yard individual medley, was named the Swimmer of the Meet for the second straight year. Our full recap from the 2018 Pac-12 Championships can be found here

» Stanford has won three consecutive Pac-12 titles in the 200-yard freestyle by three different swimmers (Lia Neal, Simone Manuel, Ledecky).
» Junior Megan Byrnes has won each of the last two conference titles in the 1,650 free. 
» No Pac-12 swimmer has won the 200 butterfly four times. Ella Eastin has won three-straight conference crowns in the event.
» The longest drought for Stanford in an individual event is the 200 backstroke -- the last Cardinal to win was Maya DiRado in 2012.
» Stanford has won four the 400 medley relay four straight times -- one away from matching the conference record set by Stanford from 2001-05.

Regular Season Recap» Stanford finished undefeated in dual meets for the fourth straight season. Seniors Ella Eastin, Leah Stevens and Kim Williams finished their careers with an unblemished record of 30-0.
» Stanford has won 29 straight dual meets. The Cardinal's last defeat in a dual was to No. 3 Cal on Feb. 14, 2015—which also marks a string of 27 straight Pac-12 dual meet victories since that loss. The Cardinal has also won 19 straight dual meets at home dating back to Oct. 30, 2014 against Texas (156-144).

Defending ChampionsOnly one team each year gets this moment. Last week, the Cardinal received its NCAA national championship rings, designed by the outgoing seniors. Several of the seniors were able to make it back to campus for the ring ceremony. 

 Freshman FeaturesIn a nine-part Q&A series with the incoming freshmen class, Stanford fans got to know the newest Cardinal. Recognized as the top recruiting class in the country at the time of their signing, the nine new freshmen are comprised of seven swimmers and two divers from eight different states and all four time zones -- Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, New York, Tennessee and Texas. A Look Ahead» Next up, NCAA Zone Diving Championships are March 11-13 in Flagstaff, Arizona, and the NCAA Championships are set for March 20-23 in Austin, Texas.
» Stanford seeks to become the first program to win three consecutive national championships since Auburn from 2002-04. Stanford last won three straight NCAA titles during a five-year run from 1992-96.
