Pac-12 South Invitational

STANFORD, Calif. - No. 12 Stanford heads to Tucson, Arizona, for the Pac-12 South Beach Invitational, where the Cardinal will play Pac-12 foes, Oregon, No. 2 USC and No. 14 Arizona.

The Cardinal began its season last weekend in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the Outrigger Beach Classic with losses against some of the top five programs, including the No. 1 ranked Bruins.

"I was pleased with the way the team responded to some tough moments in Hawaii", said head coach Andrew Fuller. "It was the most challenging opening weekend for anyone in the country and we were excited to be in the mix. We are now looking forward to some Pac-12 play."

In its last two meetings against Oregon, Stanford swept both matches 5-0. The team has also had success against Arizona, beating the Wildcats 4-1 in last season's Pac-12 Championship.

Stanford plays a doubleheader on Saturday, with matches against Oregon at 11:45 a.m. and USC at 2:15 p.m. On Sunday, the Cardinal will finish the tournament with one match against Arizona at 10:30 a.m.

All matches at the Pac-12 South Beach Invitational will be aired on the Pac-12 Networks.
