STANFORD, Calif. - For the second time this year, Stanford will carry the No. 1 national ranking according to the latest Road to Nationals listings. The Cardinal was previously tabbed No. 1 on January 14 after beginning the year with a score of 411.250 at the Cal Benefit Cup.
RoadtoNationals.com, the official statistical and ranking site of Men's NCAA Gymnastics, moved to a four-score average this week, pushing the Card into the top spot. The calculation takes the top-four scores from each team, only two of which can be home events, drops the top score, and averages the remaining three.
