STANFORD, Calif. - No. 4 Stanford extended its winning streak, blanking Hawai'i 7-0 on Sunday afternoon at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.
The Cardinal (11-1, 3-0 Pac-12) produced its seventh shutout of the season and has won 56 of its last 59 contests on The Farm.
Leading 1-0, the Cardinal quickly racked up three singles wins to secure the match and eventually completed the shutout.
Playing for the first time in her career at the No. 1 spot, Caroline Lampl defeated Petra Melounova 6-1, 6-2 to extend Stanford's lead to 2-0. Lampl has won 12 in row since her last loss on Jan. 18, equaling her previous best win streak from three years ago as a freshman.
