STANFORD, Calif. – Four Stanford field hockey players have been named 2018 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Scholars of Distinction, it was announced on Monday morning.
A total of 140 student-athletes earned the honor, including Stanford's Kelsey Bing, Isabelle Pilson, Molly Redgrove and Fenella Scutt.
The Division I Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2018-19 academic year.

The NFHCA has already announced the 2018 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award and the 2018 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad — the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA National Scholar-Athlete will be announced on April 1.
