STANFORD, Calif. – The Stanford men's volleyball program has announced its upcoming summer camp dates, scheduled for July 26-28 and August 2-4. Online registration is now open at www.stanfordvolleyballcamps.com.
Boys High School Camp - July 26-28
(Grade 9-12)
There is a new camp format this year as the Boys High School Camp will be a day camp only. For over three decades, the staff at Stanford volleyball has been famed for their ability to train athletes to the highest level of competition and significantly increase each player's knowledge of the game. That same level of teaching will be brought to the Boys High School Camp.
The goal is to help maximize the camper's ability to play the game by bringing in top coaches from all of the highest levels (college, professional, International, etc.), including our top Stanford men's volleyball staff. This camp is geared for high school players of all levels. From the elite player to players with minimal experience, we will have a curriculum designed to improve your level of play. The camp will focus on individual skill instruction, team concepts of offense and defense, and sports psychology. Campers will be grouped by ability, age, and position.
Boys and Girls All Skills Camp - Aug. 2-4
(Ages 9-14)
Our popular day camp for younger athletes, this camp is designed for 9-14 year-old players. Open to all skill levels, the camper will focus on individual technique and team concepts of offense, defense, and transition skills. The goal is to give the participant a good fundamental base to play volleyball for their school or club teams.
This is a day-only program that runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch is provided daily. Adding to the uniqueness of this particular camp, both Boys & Girls All-Skills Camp groups will be combined for some drills providing a distinct experience that will raise the level of each athlete.
